Job Description: This is a full-time position responsible for teaching Upper School Spanish (grades 9-12). Lausanne Collegiate School is an International Baccalaureate school that followings the MYP and DP curriculum in the Upper School. Spanish is part of the World Languages Department which consists of Spanish, French, and Mandarin. The Upper School consists of approximately 390 students.
Qualifications
- Spanish Teaching and Lesson Planning skills
- Curriculum Development and Teaching experience
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate or Advanced Placements in a plus
- Strong educational background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field
- Teaching certification is a plus
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Start Date: January 2025 (Initially this position would be through to the end of the 2024/25 school year, but could go beyond for the right candidate)
